What you need to know or compile before you apply

- Permanent monthly income, which can be verified
- Good credit history with no bankruptcies
- Your Australian driver's licence number (if you have one)
- Details of your current financial commitments
- Your email address.

What happens next?
Online applicants receive a reference number. A personal loans specialist will then contact you if confirmation is needed and ask you to nominate a Westpac branch to collect your contract. Once signed, funds are either credited directly to your account or provided by a bank cheque.
