Product overview


Provides a lump sum that can be used to help cover expenses associated with, but not limited to, medical treatment – expenses that your income protection plan may not be able to completely cover.
Use the lump sum however you wish, including paying off a mortgage, medical treatment, home care and modifications – even an overseas holiday to recuperate.
A lump sum payment is made if the insured person suffers one of 34 specified serious medical conditions before age 64 and survives at least 14 days.

Features

  • Maximum cover $1.5 million
  • If death occurs within 14 days of suffering one of the specified events, a lump sum payment of $10,000 will be made instead
  • Competitive premium rates
  • Discounts for non-smokers and continuity of policy
  • Automatically renewable cover each year, to age 64, regardless of changes to health, occupation and pastimes (provided that premiums are paid)
  • Automatic indexation each year in line with the CPI, subject to a maximum increase of 15%. Where the CPI is less than 3%, an indexation increase of 3% will apply
