If you've ever changed jobs, chances are you have more than one super fund. Super can be easy to forget about once you leave one job and start another. And having more than one super fund can mean you might be paying too much in administration fees – eating away at your super balance.
It's easy to consolidate your super into one fund with Westpac and potentially save on administration fees. Simply complete and return the following:

  • It can take up to 3 months to consolidate your super with Westpac once we receive your forms.
  • You should carefully read the Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) or other disclosure document before deciding whether to acquire, continue to hold or dispose of interests in the relevant super fund/plan. 3 steps to consolidating your super

Step 1

Gather together your most recent super statements.
If you can't find your statements, look at the paperwork sent to you when you left your previous employer. You will need to find out:
  • your previous super fund's name and address
  • the Superannuation Product Identification Number (SPIN) or
  • the Australian Business Number (ABN)
  • your member/policy number.

Step 2

If you can't locate all of your super, call your previous employer.
Ask them where your super money was placed when you left. Find out the name, address, member/policy number of your account and telephone number of the super fund and call them to confirm that they have your money.
If you cannot contact your previous employer, or the super fund has transferred your money to another super fund, you can contact the Australian Taxation Office (ATO).

The ATO has a register of lost super money. Call them on 131 020 and ask for Lost Members Register or visit Finding your lost super.

Step 3

Complete, sign and send the
Adobe Acrobat Reader PDF Request to transfer Westpac Personal Investment Fund (PDF 75Kb)
Adobe Acrobat Reader PDF Request to transfer Westpac Personal Super Fund (PDF 75Kb)
Adobe Acrobat Reader PDF Request to transfer Westpac Simple super (PDF 75Kb)
Adobe Acrobat Reader PDF Request to transfer Westpac Lifetime Superannuation Service (PDF 144Kb)

to the address marked on the form.

We'll organise for each super fund to transfer your money into your Westpac membership. Please complete a separate form for each benefit to be transferred and ensure that each one has an original signature.
