Handy insurance hints and tips
  • Select carefully - not all insurance cover is the same.
  • It's not enough to compare prices - you must also compare the cover provided as well as limits and policy exclusions.
  • Policies look similar but there are differences in type, item limits, conditions and exclusions which can result in a significantly different outcome when you make a claim.
When comparing products, check the policy cover for:
  • Defined events or accidental loss or damage
  • Legal liability in Australia and worldwide
  • Burning out of electric motors
  • Accidental breakage of fixed glass
  • New-for-old replacement regardless of age
  • Flooding
Make sure you choose the right cover and you get what you are paying for.
