Applying for Landlord's Protection Insurance is a simple and convenient process.

How long will the application take to complete?
It is important that you complete all questions on the application. This should only take you 10 to 15 minutes if you have all the information at hand.

For security reasons incomplete applications cannot be saved. If you pause for more than 30 minutes, your application will be cancelled.

Who can apply?
Any person who owns or is buying a residential investment property which is rented for residential purposes. The property can be a free standing dwelling or a Strata Title home unit.

You should not apply:
  • If your property is used for commercial purposes
  • If your property has pre-existing damage or if a loss has already occurred
  • If your tenant has already defaulted or is more than two weeks in arrears with rental payments
  • If you do not have a written rental agreement with your tenant
Product Disclosure Statement
Before applying for insurance online you should download and read the Home and Contents Insurance Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) which includes Landlord's Protection Insurance. If you cannot download the document please call 1300 650 255 to receive a paper copy.

The PDS contains important information to help you understand the terms and conditions of the insurance and to choose the cover most appropriate to your needs.
