Managing your card

 

The following services apply to all our credit card products.


Credit limit increase


Need extra funds for a large business purchase or in case of emergency? With an increase to your business card limit you could afford the little (or big) extras, or consolidate all your expenses on the one card, as a way of better managing your finances.

BusinessChoice Credit card


If you have a BusinessChoice Credit card, you will need to complete the following form and take it to your nearest branch for processing.

    Alternatively you can contact your Relationship manager or Business Direct on 132 772.

    Altitude Business Limited Edition


    If you have an Altitude Business Limited Edition card, existing Online Banking customers can save time completing this application by doing so online. Once signed in, your details are automatically (and securely) included in the form, meaning less data for you to fill in. It also means you'll get a decision within 60 seconds.

    Not a Westpac Online customer?

    You can also apply for a credit limit increase by calling 1300 651 089. In most cases a decision can be made within 15 minutes and a confirmation letter will then be sent.

    Supplementary/additional cards



    BusinessChoice Credit card



    If you have a BusinessChoice Credit card you can have up to 10 cardholders (cardholder fees apply).

    Altitude Business Limited Edition card


    You can apply for an additional card free of charge, and share the same line of credit , as long as they are over 16 years.

    Existing Online Banking customers can save time completing this application by doing so online. Once signed in, you're details are automatically (and securely) included in the form, meaning less data for you to fill in. It also means you'll get a decision within 60 seconds.

    Not a Westpac Online customer?

    If you are not registered for Online Banking, you can easily submit your credit card request by downloading and completing the PDF form below and forwarding it to Westpac. Filling in the form should only take you between and 5-10 minutes.

      Internet Banking


      Access your account and do your banking online, anytime day or night. If you're registered with Business Internet Banking you can:
      • View your account balance
      • See the last 100 days' transactions
      • Transfer money to pay off your accounts
      • Pay bills displaying the BPAY logo

      Balance transfer


      Consolidating your finances on the one card could save you the cost (and trouble) of maintaining several accounts. Simply transfer the balances of any credit, charge, or store card to your Westpac Business credit card1. However, you will not gain the benefit of any interest free period until the full balance (including any balance transfer) is paid by the due date each month. If you like, we can contact the other financial institutions or stores for you.

      Card Autopay


      If you have an Altitude Business Limited Edition card or a BusinessChoice Credit card and find yourself struggling to remember to pay your credit card on time or are too busy to organise payments, you can have peace of mind with Card Autopay. It's a free service that automatically pays a nominated amount to your card monthly. You can choose to pay the full balance, a percentage of the balance, or a set amount.

      Lost or stolen card


      To report a lost or stolen card, please notify us immediately so that we can stop all transactions on your account. Contact our Cards Customer Service Call Centre on:
      • Australia – 1300 650 107 or call 1300 651 089 for the Altitude Business Limited Edition card
      • Overseas – 61 2 9374 7082 (reverse charges)
      If you report a lost or stolen card by phone or at a branch, the credit card can be stopped immediately. A replacement card will be mailed to you or sent to a branch for your collection. This will take four working days in metro areas and six working days in regional areas.

      Transfer your recurring direct debits


      Do you have a new Westpac business card but still have recurring direct debits being charged to your old account?

      Companies may be automatically debiting your business card for services such as phone, gas and electricity. If you have a new business card, you will need to advise these companies of your new card details.

      For most companies a phone call will be sufficient to change your card details. You may also be able to update your details online.

      If you need to provide your new account details in writing, our online form can help you generate the letters required. Then you can print and send the letters to your service providers.



      Pen or PIN verification


      Credit card transactions have always required your signature. That will change from 4 June 2008 when – at participating merchants – you will have the option of using the card's 4-digit PIN (personal identification number) instead. Of course, you can continue to sign as you've always done. The choice is yours.

      Keying in your PIN can be more convenient than signing because it's quicker: no more juggling pen, purchases and paper. Just enter your PIN and you're done.

      Qantas Frequent Flyer Program membership (BusinessChoice Rewards card only)


      You must be a member of the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program to earn and redeem points using a BusinessChoice Rewards Card. Each cardholder needs to complete the following registration form if they wish to earn Adobe Acrobat Reader PDF Qantas Frequent Flyer points (PDF 81kb) or call 1300 650 107 (Option 3)
